The Person Your
Students Will Train With

Coach Mak has been developing youth basketball players in Broward County for over 10 years. As a certified educator and former college player, he brings both academic rigor and elite athletic experience to every session. He trains players ages 7–17 using a Constraints-Led Approach — real game situations, not repetitive drills.

"The goal isn't just basketball skills. It's decision-making under pressure, resilience, and confidence — things that transfer into every classroom and every life situation."

Questions We Always Get

No. Parents pay directly at $179/student for the summer camp (or $80/month for after-school). Your school provides the space. That's it. No invoices, no contracts, no liability.
Hoop College is a skills development program, not a competitive team. We complement existing programs — in fact, many students who train with us become standouts on their school teams. We develop the individual player, not the roster.
None for the summer camp — it's one week, then it's done. If families want after-school programs during the school year, those run month-to-month with no annual contracts for parents or for your school.
Yes. Hoop College carries full general liability insurance and your school is named as an additional insured for the duration of any on-campus programming. We'll provide your administration with a certificate of insurance before we step foot in your gym.
Ages 7–17. We split into two groups during camp: Young Ballers (ages 7–11) and Teen Hoopers (ages 12–17). Each group is coached at their appropriate level so no one is overwhelmed or under-challenged.
Access to your gymnasium Monday through Friday for one week in June or July. We handle everything else — staffing, curriculum, equipment, music, check-in, and parent communication. Your school's role ends when you hand us the key.
